The Fotona 4D laser delivers controlled laser energy into multiple layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production and encourage tissue tightening. This heat stimulates fibroblasts (the cells responsible for producing collagen), improving skin firmness, smoothing fine lines, and refining overall texture.
The exact laser wavelength used depends on the targeted conditions. Our device uses two laser wavelengths: Nd:YAG and Er:YAG.
- Nd:YAG: Fotona’s Nd:YAG laser technology can handle a wide range of aesthetic treatments in large areas. The thermal energy from the laser penetrates the skin to precisely target even the deepest skin structures.
- Er:YAG: Designed to treat surface-level skin irregularities, the Er:YAG laser technology allows for precise, layer-by-layer dermal ablation. This process causes skin cells to shrink, stimulates collagen production, and promotes healthier skin overall.
